Automatic filter press

In an automatic filter press , the whole process  is fully automated. Automatic filter presses usually comes with a plate shifting mechanism to move the plates and allow rapid cake discharge from the chambers of filter press. The advantage of using automatic filter presses is that the cycle time reduces and the manpower can be reduced.

    In an automated system , the complete operation, from the feeding through the end of  the filtration cycle, is begun through a single
  "start" push button in central control panel . The valves should be solenoid actuated valves to ensure press can be operated in fully  automated mode.
